WHAT TO EXPECT
Supported Accommodation
We provide supported accommodation in a nurturing and supportive environment for looked-after children and care leavers aged 16 and 17 with relatively high or increasing levels of independence, ready to gain further skills to prepare for adult living
Promoting Independence
We offer a supportive structure enabling young people to access appropriate education and extensive life skills programmes, individually tailored for young people
Child Protection and Mental Wellbeing
We do everything possible to ensure young people are safe, listened to, respected, and involved in both the development of the service and decisions about the settings

We are passionate about delivering personalised services which adapt with young people’s changing needs and aspirations

We take all necessary steps to ensure that individual young people and their families are not subjected to any form of discrimination, marginalisation, or bullying based on their age, religion or belief, disability, ethnicity, cultural and linguistic background, sex, gender reassignment, sexual identity, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, mental health, etc
Safeguarding the Rights and Entitlements of Young People
We strongly promote young people’s understanding of their individual rights within the home and the community and support the acquisition of knowledge of how to access information regarding their rights.

Our Approach
Our Home Care Process
Placement
The proposed new young person is passed on to the registered service manager for assessment and approval upon which placement meeting takes place and moving date is set
Risk Assessment
On commencement of each placement, we will complete a risk assessment, and create a support plan with the young person and their social worker
Assignment
After a daily routine is formed, the young person is assigned a key worker responsible for managing the young person’s journey while in supported accommodation
