We take all necessary steps to ensure that individual young people and their families are not subjected to any form of discrimination, marginalisation, or bullying based on their age, religion or belief, disability, ethnicity, cultural and linguistic background, sex, gender reassignment, sexual identity, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, mental health, etc. Bullying is not tolerated in our accommodation, and we have clear procedures for staff to address such behavior, promoting a holistic approach to prevention, intervention, and attitude change. We are committed to providing a caring, friendly, and safe environment where individual differences are respected and celebrated in order to promote a culture of understanding, acceptance, and inclusion. Our “Equity For All” scheme ensures that equality, diversity, and inclusion are integrated into our services, well beyond regulatory duties. We have comprehensive action plans, monitoring progress, and reporting to our Management Team. We encourage young people to understand their rights and responsibilities, providing resources and support to meet their individual needs.
